Big Jim Loquat Fruit
In the Phoenix area Big Jim Loquats ripen in April. Loquats have a spritely fresh flavor and a melting flesh. In the center are large smooth black seeds. Loquats are freeze hardy in Phoenix so even though they are very tropical looking and everygreen you do not have to worry about frost. They are also a very good fit for Tucson.
